I know you want more referrals. But sometimes the problem isn’t the number of introductions — it’s the fit. A well-meaning partner introduces you to someone who isn’t quite the right client. The conversation is polite, but it never really goes anywhere. It’s the business version of being set up on a blind date with someone who seemed perfect on paper… but clearly isn’t the right match.
